At the Neighborhood Cooperative, we believe that children learn through hands on purposeful play. Educators set the stage for learning each day through thoughtful planning and by continuously responding to the needs and interests of the children. With small class sizes, teachers are able to meet individual needs within the group. Educators continuously work to facilitate thoughtful exploration, independent discovery, and positive social interactions and connections amongst peers. Through guided play, teachers are able to help children reach their potential in a joyful and meaningful way. The words “Listen. Be Kind. Do Your Best.” help to guide daily interactions amongst children and adults alike.
